Professional Experience

I have nearly 7 years of post-graduate experience of treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, post-operative and paediatric disorders. I have in-depth knowledge of biomechanics, physiology and kinematics that i utilize in effective treatment of my patients. Apart from a physiotherapy degree, I hold a certificate in manual therapy from Federation of Indian Manual Therapist (FIMT) by K.Pearlson (Australia) , a certificate in Pilates Matwork level-1 from Australian Physiotherapist and Pilates Institute and Dry needling level- 1 certified by club physio, certificate in IASTM, MAT Assessment and Cupping techniques. I treat my patients with a variety of techniques that includes manual therapy, mobilisation, exercises, Pilates, dry needling, strengthening and electrotherapy, IASTM and Cupping and psychological counselling. My focus is to make effective evidence based program for each and every patient and motivate them to participate actively in their rehabilitation process. Key component to therapeutic alliance with your client is trust and care; if your client/patient trusts you and feel that care from your side towards his/her health then your treatment will give you maximum results and speedy recovery, though it is very important that your patient always follows home program and adapt mandatory daily activity changes in their routine. Sometimes despite giving your best the therapy does not go as planned, in that case I try changing the approach which works almost all the time and if that fails sometimes I try vigorous counselling. I believe personally and professionally that trusts play a major role in maintaining a healthy relationship. I became therapist for helping people to gain better health and motivate them to be healthy and proactive. The most thing I love about being a physical therapist is the happiness which I get after the patient is cured.
